The last dot has yet to land.
A calligrapher sets the dot of the nūn last, once the word is finished. Ours is hanging just above its place.
Husn Academy is a new place to learn the Qur’an and to recite it beautifully.

ح س ن
Our name comes from three letters.
Arabic builds its words from roots. This root carries the idea of beauty, and it leads straight to the Qur’an.
- حُسْن
- ḤusnBeauty and goodness. Our name.
- تَحْسِين
- TaḥsīnMaking something more beautiful. Taḥsīn al-tilāwah is the work of improving your recitation.
- إِحْسَان
- IḥsānDoing a thing as well as it can be done.
- أَحْسَن
- AḥsanThe most beautiful, the best. The Qur’an uses this word for itself.
The Qur’an describes itself with the same root:
ٱللَّهُ نَزَّلَ أَحْسَنَ ٱلْحَدِيثِ
“Allah has sent down the most beautiful of speech.”
